The Partner Integrations team is dedicated to our Merchant's success, as they are at the core of our marketplace and we need to provide them the best experience to onboard, operate, and grow their business. As DoorDash expands, both in scale and scope of integrated delivery offerings, our technical aptitude and product offering must grow with it. We are looking for motivated team members who embody a “Merchant First” attitude to guide our partners through their integration journey with DoorDash.

About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Technical Account Manager to accelerate growth across Regional and Local Grocery. Externally, you'll serve as the Technical Account Manager for these integrations, gathering information from partners and helping them connect to our system. Internally, you will strategize with our cross-functional DoorDash teams to build & operate a world class integrations platform. Reporting to a Manager on our Partner Integrations team, you will be an integral part of DoorDash's Merchant Strategy & Operations organization.

  • You will own the success of our New Verticals integrations by driving initiatives across technical teams, contractors, and internal business stakeholders
  • You will identify, resolve, and escalate day-to-day integration-related blockers
  • You will be the voice of DoorDash in managing external relationships with our New Verticals partners, leading implementation and process improvement
  • You will partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to discover & drive opportunities for improvement that come from data analysis, merchant insights, and the definition of new processes  
  • You will help shape the systems integrations roadmap in collaboration with other product and operations owners
  • You will empower cross functional partners by partnering with Growth Operations to educate stakeholders on integrations and create user-friendly enablement content

Your responsibilities in this role are…

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert for DoorDash’s integrated offerings and guide partners through new Integration builds
  • Collaborating closely with Mid-market partners to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful integration onto the DoorDash platform.
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide guidance and support.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear business solutions that align with our partner’s objectives.
  • Work on strategic projects based on Merchant needs to uplevel our product offering and to contribute to our processes and documentation to continuously improve.

Qualifications

  • Operational
    • Proven track record of maintaining and enhancing processes 
    • Strong ability to collaborate with external partners to drive successful partnerships
    • Experience in project and/or program management
    • Proven success working in cross-functional engineering and operations teams
  • Technical
    • 3+ years of experience translating technical concepts to business solutions
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge of integrations, APIs, webhooks and ETL
    • Hands-on working SQL experience to troubleshoot and self-serve
    • [Encouraged] Prior experience with Grocery POS and Inventory systems
  • General
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
