About the team

The Platform team is DoorDash’s hyper-growth business segment that aims to revolutionize the first-party experience for Merchants and their Customers. The DoorDash Platform encompasses the full suite of DoorDash’s first-party products, including digital ordering, delivery fulfillment, and voice ordering. Our Platform empowers Merchants to reach and retain their Customers while maintaining their unique brand identity.

By leveraging DoorDash’s scale, we help Restaurants that adopt our Custom Website and Native App offerings by providing products that increase traffic and conversion rates. You’ll tackle complex operational challenges, define strategic initiatives, and collaborate closely with our largest and most strategic clients to enhance their digital experiences and drive exponential growth for the Platform business.

About the role

As a Senior Associate on the DoorDash Commerce Platform Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving growth across our various products and services. You will be aligned to specific products or partnerships, and you will own all work streams related to building and executing strategies to drive growth, increase adoption, make operations more efficient, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring solutions to life.

  • Operate: Dive into the lowest level of detail to ensure successful execution. You will meticulously anticipate and address potential challenges as we rapidly scale. You will work directly with internal and external partners to implement strategies and scale processes while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Strategize: Develop comprehensive strategies to support and scale the Enterprise Digital Ordering business, considering both immediate and long-term success. You will tailor strategies to leverage DoorDash’s technology and maximize impact & growth for our Restaurant partners.
  • Build & Own: Establish and own the infrastructure needed for massive growth in the business. From there, you will lead 0 to 1 opportunities, creating roadmaps for future growth vectors and owning key outcomes.
  • Collaborate: Value and build strong partnerships across DoorDash, including Services, Product, Engineering, Account Management, Finance, and counterparts in the business. You will work together to bring your strategies to life.
  • Analyze: Leverage complex datasets and qualitative inputs to generate insights and recommendations. You will use data and experimentation to refine processes and drive measurable improvements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate & Advocate: Represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset. You will navigate ambiguous environments and provide structure for undefined opportunities by creating playbooks and templates. You will precisely communicate your plans to align your team and cross-functional partners with your goals.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
