About the Team

DashMart is DoorDash’s first-party grocery and convenience business. We delight customers with our fresh, local, and reliable products and leverage the DoorDash platform to offer new shopping experiences for a wide range of selection.

About the Role

We're hiring an Associate Manager, Sourcing Strategy & Operations who will own the strategy for emerging business models. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify and create opportunities to optimize our product sourcing and develop mechanisms that will ensure we meet the needs of our customers. The Associate Manager, Sourcing Strategy & Operations will also own goal development and strategies for successful supply chain performance.

You will report into the Manager of Inventory Strategy and Operations within the DashMart Supply Chain organization. This is a hybrid, flexible role with the ability to work at home or at any DoorDash Corporate Office.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build programmatic solutions to achieve sourcing efficiencies and develop the playbook for profitability, scaled distribution.
  • Comfortably navigate ambiguous data and problems in a fast-paced environment, and with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Work hands-on with stakeholders to improve business inputs, identify defects, and enhance our customer's shopping experience.
  • Manage cost inputs and impact our financial success.
  • Be a strategic thought leader in establishing processes for a growing business.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years of experience. You've succeeded in externally-facing roles in a field such as merchandising, vendor/account management, data analytics, commerce, or consulting.
  • You love to own and drive a strategy. You take ownership with a strong bias for action, and you always have a back-up plan.
  • You are comfortable navigating complex, large, and/or ambiguous data sets, and are confident using Excel, have experience with SQL, and let data guide your decisions.
  • You love to learn, shape, and influence across a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • You gain trust and support of external partners and your communication is clear and effective.

We expect this position to be filled by 1/24/25.
