About the Team

DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about – helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses. The Dasher & Logistics team ensures every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and a positive Consumer, Merchant and Dasher experience. We’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform and we believe that to accomplish this we’ll need to disrupt ourselves a few times along the way! Our team owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher & Logistics life cycle ranging from cost & quality to Dasher pay, to Dasher retention, to order batching and beyond. To further this mission, we’re looking for top talent to play a pivotal role in managing quality and supply for Canada’s rapidly growing new verticals business including grocery, alcohol and convenience.

About the Role

We are looking to bring on a nimble, results-oriented Associate with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to join the Canadian Dasher & Logistics team. In this role, you will focus on improving the quality of Shop and Deliver orders and will ensure sufficient Dasher supply at all times for a variety of specialized orders. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with data and will excel at hands-on execution of a variety of tasks with speed and agility. They have experience prioritizing, setting expectations, building consensus with cross-functional teams, and establishing trust with cross-functional partners. They excel at making data-informed decisions to meet business objectives and can operate at the 10,000 feet level and the 1-foot level, equally efficiently.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build - You are excited to work on highly complex projects that have an immediate impact on the Dasher fleet and end consumers. You can work with averages and outliers
  • Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence by owning your success metrics independently and pushing boundaries to get more efficient every quarter
  • Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including growth, product, legal & compliance, engineering, finance and analytics to execute plans. One team, one fight!
  • Execution - You’ll own and run with quality & supply of DoorDash’s next big businesses. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details
  • Experiment - Run tests and scale insights. Embrace the challenge of having multiple paths forward and no right answer. Growing a business in a competitive market will not be easy
  • Analyze - You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data

We’re excited about you because you have…

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, analytics or business operations experience
  • A proven track record of analytical problem-solving, managing cross-functional initiatives, and succeeding in a fast-paced environment
  • An analytical mindset and can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; SQL experience is preferred
  • Comfort with following process but questioning status quo at the same time and ability to operate in constant change & ambiguity
