About the Team
The Strategy & Operations Cx Experience team owns the discovery experience for how users explore DoorDash. Our mission is to help DoorDash consumers connect with their communities and discover “what’s good” in their city. Our Occasions pod sits within this team and our mission is to help DoorDash become the #1 destination to buy anything you need around seasonal and celebratory moments. Our team designs the strategy and executes these initiatives, while making Consumers feel that DoorDash is personalized just for them. We bring together a team across product, user research, marketing, analytics and operations to collaborate on platform and content projects that bring us closer to our vision.
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail oriented, highly-motivated individual to lead the execution of our occasions, owning the strategy development and implementation needed to launch these campaigns. As our execution lead, you will work closely with multiple XFN partners and stakeholders, guiding teams on best practices, workback schedules, timelines and campaign launching. You will become an expert in all internal tooling used for campaign execution, craft the roadmap for the rollout of our occasions, help teams setup, test and launch initiatives, identify areas where we can continue to streamline the execution process, and so much more. You will report into an Associate Manager on our Occasions team.

- Own the preparation and implementation of the execution plan for key initiatives and occasions: creating campaigns when needed, setting up experiments, conducting testing sessions and implementing in-app content
- Collaborate across internal marketing and operations teams: maintaining documentation, communicating clearly about project status, and adhering to deadlines
- Thoroughly review and test campaigns to ensure it meets design standards and merchandising guidelines, keeping the user experience in mind
- Build documentation, setup guides , and conduct trainings so that operators can execute effectively
- Become an expert on consumer-first merchandising principles and internal tooling to be able to lead cross-functional processes and forums
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 1-2 years experience working in strategy and operations, project management, growth strategy, consulting, or banking
- You have a track record of owning key initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a cross-functional team environment
- You excel both as a generalist and specialist who can build the overarching strategy and deep dive into specific issues and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- You have a bias for action and track record of leading initiatives
- You bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and work with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, ads and promos, design and other S&O functions
- You are highly organized and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You have expert communication skills, both written & verbal
- You are an optimistic & collaborative problem solver
- You are meticulous, with a strong attention to detail
- You are comfortable working with data in excel/google sheets and willing to learn basic SQL

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
