About the Role
This role provides an impactful opportunity to drive finance business partnership and strategy at a hyper-growth company. We are looking for a Finance Manager who will help support our Fraud operations with efficient & cost-effective strategies to protect good customers from bad actors and would-be fraudsters on our platform. You will partner with teams across the business including Strategy & Operations, Analytics, Accounting, Product GMs, and Finance, covering all of our key fraud areas including chargebacks, Consumer fraud, Dasher fraud, and account takeovers. You will develop and own financial models and be a proactive presence to our business partners to evaluate opportunities to further improve the financial cost of fraud on our platform.
We are looking for a Manager who will help to build our team's strategy and ensure we are making efficient, data-driven decisions. You will become an expert in DoorDash business practices and develop a thorough understanding of how all the parts of the business fit together. A successful manager will be able to make recommendations that cater to our customers, merchants, and dashers to align with our overall financial and business goals.

- Analyze operational/financial data, uncover new fraud trends/vectors, and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
- Own financial models and analyses to prioritize investments needed to combat fraud
- Work with cross-functional partners to develop new processes and policies
We’re excited about you because…
- 6+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or fraud financial analyst experience in a high-growth technology sector
- Ability to influence cross functional partners at all levels
- Experience influencing financials for various teams and initiatives
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company
- Basic SQL proficiency (or strong willingness to learn)

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
