About the Team
The DoorDash Campaign Operations team’s mission is to efficiently deliver high quality, relevant CRM communications that meet the needs of our audiences, globally. To accomplish this mission, we’re building a team of technical CRM and lifecycle marketing experts who build, QA, and launch email, push, SMS, and in-app campaigns designed by our Lifecycle Marketing partners. This team is goaled on high-quality campaign delivery and operational efficiency so that each campaign reaches the correct audience on-time with excellent craft.
About the Role
As the Senior Associate, Campaign Operations, you will be responsible for building, testing, and launching CRM and Lifecycle Marketing campaigns designed by our Lifecycle Marketing partners. This is a hands-on CRM execution and QA role — not a brand, content, social media, performance-marketing, or campaign-strategy position. You will partner closely with the Lifecycle Marketing team and Project Managers to ensure each campaign has completed all required steps prior to launch, and is delivered on time to the end-consumer, with high quality and excellent craft. You will be responsible for the high quality campaign delivery rate and production efficiency of each campaign launch. This role will report to the Campaign Ops Manager who sits in Mexico City.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Campaign QA & Execution: Build, test, and launch CRM and lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging, and other channels using Braze and in-house tools. Own the end-to-end QA review process, build target audience segments and personalization logic, and collaborate with designers and copywriters to execute against the campaign brief.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams such as Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design to align on CRM campaign goals, audience segmentation, and creative execution.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze CRM campaign performance — including deliverability, engagement, and quality metrics — providing insights and recommendations to improve quality, craft, and efficiency for future lifecycle initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Campaign Operations for your Lifecycle Marketing partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Tool Expertise: Leverage Braze and other internal CRM/marketing automation platforms to implement sophisticated lifecycle campaigns, including automation, dynamic content, and A/B testing.
We’re excited about you because you bring…
- Experience: 3+ years of recent hands-on experience in CRM Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Marketing, or Email Marketing, executing multi-channel campaigns end-to-end
- Majority of your day-to-day responsibilities (75%+) involved hands-on campaign execution — directly building, configuring, QAing, and launching lifecycle campaigns rather than primarily developing strategy or coordinating execution through other teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on, verifiable experience working directly inside Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or a comparable scaled ESP, building, testing, and launching campaigns, is required - this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have. Familiarity with additional marketing automation/CRM tools is a plus.
- You should be comfortable personally configuring audiences/segments, entry and exit criteria, triggers, decision splits, suppressions, personalization/dynamic content, testing, scheduling, and campaign deployment.
- Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize campaign development and quality.
- Collaborative Approach: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
