As DoorDash prepared to open our new office space in Mexico City, we used feedback from our team members to create a space that fulfills our people’s unique needs while reflecting the energetic atmosphere around the city.
Located almost directly at the center of Mexico City, DoorDash’s new office hub is attached to the Mitikah Mall and is spread across two and a half floors, at over 53,000 square feet. The office features 460 work stations to support our hybrid employees, with a blend of huddle, focus, and training rooms to support the variety of work styles our people encounter every day.
Each floor was developed and curated using the design concept of DoorDash making its mark on Mexico City and celebrating local flavors. Custom designed graphics are meant to reflect the vibrant colors and culture that are distinctly Mexico City. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light and majestic 360-degree views of the surrounding city.

Our space is a lively office, where teams celebrate their wins and enjoy a hybrid work schedule, with team members flexing both in office for a set number of days each week, while also working remotely. The space features a large cafe and event space perfectly suited for all hands meetings and in-office festivities. It also features six training rooms, open collaboration spaces near large windows overlooking the city, and small meeting rooms for check-ins and zoom meetings.
The first floor features a reception area, a large cafe/all hands space, and a custom kitchen for daily food service for employees. Colorful design elements that line the walls of the first floor are inspired by the local cuisine. The textures and colors of textiles found in local markets are emphasized across the second floor. And the craftsmanship and bright finishes of the ceramics across the city come across in the colors chosen for the third floor.

To celebrate the opening of our new office, teams joined together for a day of celebration that included zumba lessons, an all hands meeting, and an afternoon of entertainment featuring a DJ, local artists, and food and drinks.
